How Baxi Group is responding to a fast changing heating market with new technologies and new market strategies is the theme of the Group's presence at the important international H & V show Mostra Convegno Expocomfort in Milan (11th - 15th March 2008)
At the show Baxi Group is showcasing a wide range of integrated heating systems and product range extensions. Baxi Group Marketing Director Christophe Leroy commented; "All European heating markets, from West to East Europe, are going through momentous change due to new legislation and energy price increases, moving demands from traditional boilers to high efficiency condensing boilers, and from single products to integrated systems which combine boilers with alternative technologies.”
Baxi Group is a lead player in the development of new microCHP boiler technologies, and a number of new Baxi mCHP technologies are also being featured at the show. Earlier this month Baxi's new Ecogen mCHP boiler was launched at a high profile event in London attended by the UK Energy Minister. Ecogen is the first wall hung mCHP boiler to be launched which is suitable for a wide range of domestic situations, and will go into commercial production later this year.
At the show Baxi Group is also launching new brand imagery - featuring the Baxi Heatwave motif - representing warmth radiating from Baxi products and systems to be enjoyed and appreciated by people in both their home and working environments. Christophe Leroy commented; "Consumers are increasingly becoming conscious of choosing the right home energy solutions, because of the rise in energy prices and concern for the environment. At Baxi we are constantly striving to understand and meet customer needs, and to respond to their demands. The market is changing quickly, but thanks to continuous investments in new products and technologies Baxi is able to respond to these challenges and build even stronger relationships with customers.”
