For the second year running, a combination boiler from UK manufacturer Potterton has been rated one of Which? magazine's Best Buys.

The independent consumer magazine says in its boiler report that the Potterton Gold Combi 24 HE is a Best Buy because it 'provides the best combination of high efficiency, low NOx emissions, convenient features and ease of use'.

"To be acknowledged by Which? for two years running is a real accolade," says Simon Gibson, Product Manager for Potterton.  "The publication is well known for its impartial advice to consumers, so we are delighted the Potterton Gold Combi 24 HE has made the Best Buys as an example of a reliable, highly efficient, user friendly boiler.

"And its competitive price (it is the cheapest of the Best Buy boilers) demonstrates real value for money."

Which? rigorously tested 34 boilers from a selection of leading manufacturers for fuel consumption, durability, energy efficiency and emissions.  In addition, each was evaluated by a Corgi registered gas installer on how easy it was to install and service and use.  The four Best Buys are judged as being "highly efficient, user friendly boilers that won't let you down."

The full report can be found on the Which? website http://www.which.co.uk/ . There are three boilers in the Potterton Gold Combi range - 24, 28 and 33kW outputs - and each model has undergone rigorous testing to ensure outstanding performance and reliability, backed up by a three-year parts and labour warranty.
