General Statement of Intent
Baxi Group recognises that it has both moral and legal responsibilities to protect its employees and third parties affected by its operations; and in order to operate its business efficiently we should work to prevent accidents both to people and property and generally promote the well being of our employees.
The Group's policy is to do all that is reasonably practicable to prevent personal injury and damage to property, and protect all employees and third parties affected by its operations from foreseeable hazards, including the adoption of sound environmental policies in the interests of the community.
This is a mutual objective of the Group and the Company employees and each Company expects the full co-operation of every employee in meeting these aims.
Through Group Governance we ensure that this Policy is implemented within each Company in accordance with relevant national legislation and guidance documents. This is also monitored via a system of internal self-certificated compliance monitoring, performance reporting and a rolling programme of health and safety audits undertaken by an independent external body.
